Back in my college days, I pursued a major in the arts, despite my father's initial opposition. He expressed concerns about our family's financial situation, suggesting that we couldn't afford to support my pursuit of art. In the minds of many parents, studying art equated to a life of poverty and struggle. However, I ultimately chose to follow my passion for the arts. I firmly believed that doing what I loved would eventually lead to self-sufficiency and a fulfilling life, with financial stability being only a matter of time.
Fortunately, I witnessed my belief materialize into reality. Through a series of fortunate events, I ventured into managing my own Airbnb rental property. I fell in love with the work, and thanks to my background in art, my Airbnb business thrived. With the help of friends who spread the word, I attracted numerous inquiries. To save time from repeatedly answering similar questions, I began sharing my experiences on social media platforms. Soon after, I was invited to teach Airbnb investment and management strategies, followed by requests for my expertise in professional staging. My career evolved from a personal interest into a successful venture, organically and seamlessly. Today, my approach to my children's education is much more relaxed. I believe that even in pursuits like the coveted Ivy League admissions, what matters most is the kind of individuals they become.
