The Power of Human Connection: Photographer Harry Williams on the Michelle Meow Year-End Special

Join us for our celebratory year-end Michelle Meow Show special. We'll start with a conversation with local photographer/artist Harry Williams, who photographs the people of San Francisco. We'll explore human connections and how community engagement can preserve our dignity and compassion for each other.
We'll end our program with a special performance by SNOWW. Then stick around for a fun reception and holiday cheer.
Tres Vinos 2024 | Celebrating 25 Years
2024 School of Arts & Culture 筹款晚宴
5pm - 9pm, August 17, 2024 • School of Arts and Culture at the Mexican Heritage Plaza
Tres Vinos brings together attendees across various networks to support our goal of shaping the built environment and establishing the city's first cultural district with La Plaza at its center. The reception begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the official program starting promptly at 6:15 p.m.
The night concludes with a special performance by La Doña, a student, teacher, and preservationist of Latinx traditional arts such as corrido, bolero, cumbia, and mariachi. Her compositions blend these ancestral traditions with contemporary diasporic music styles like reggaeton, hip-hop, and jazz.
San Jose jazz summer fest returns this August
August 9-11, 2024
With over 30,000 attendees, SJZ Summer Fest is set to return for 3 days of jazz, R&B, blues, salsa and more in DTSJ from August 9-11th. The music festival brings together stages all across downtown with major headliners performing each night. There are still tickets available for sale.

Silicon Valley Pride是硅谷最大的LGBTQ+组织，也是愉园社的社群伙伴，一年到头都会组织各种各样的活动。当然最大的就是骄傲游行了！从周六晚上开始，周日是上午的游行和下午的嘉年华，每年都会请到有名的乐队和歌手演出，另外还有两个演出舞台错峰演出，热闹非凡。上百个摊位，有当选官员，有各种组织，也可以申请去卖Pride相关的商品哦。嘉年华当然少不了各式料理的餐车，各式酒水饮料。各个族裔的朋友们聚拢在一起享受一个自由畅怀的阳光天。申请做Pride志愿者，不但可以享受贡献社群的乐趣，也能享受免门票，纪念体恤，简餐等福利。

Counterpoint with Ukraine. A Festival Unique in the World.
February 16-March 3, join us for a spectacular and timely edition of the San Jose Jazz Winter Fest, co-curated with the Am I Jazz? Festival of Kyiv, Ukraine.
This year's program includes 2023 Grammy-award nominees Jazzmeia Horn, Ambrose Akinmansure, and Rafiq Bhatia, along with acclaimed Ukrainian musicians Vadim Neselovski, Dennis Adu, and Olesya Zdorovetska among a dozen other performances at venues in Downtown San Jose and Santa Clara. Performances and events at the SJZ Break Room venue will be live-streamed, free, to international audiences.
In addition to music performances, this year's Fest is a multidisciplinary endeavor including dance, contemporary art and independent film. Both San Jose Jazz and the Am I Jazz? Festival are thrilled to bring this programming to you.
