Who We Are
We are a bilingual community of Chinese immigrants who moved to America as adults. We are primarily professionals who live in the Bay Area and work in a wide range of fields, such as business, tech, the arts, law, non-profit, science, public service, and academia. As neighbors, colleagues and members of our diverse society, we are excited to learn from one another, engage more meaningfully with other local communities, and exchange ideas with each other in this place we call home.
我们是一个由成年后移居美国的华人移民组成的双语社群。我们的成员主要居住在旧金山湾区，并在商业、科技、艺术、法律、公益、科学、公共服务和学术等广泛领域工作的专业人士。作为我们多元化社会的成员和您的邻居、同事，我们很高兴能够互相学习，更有意义地与本地各族裔社群互动，并在这个我们称之为家的地方相互交流想法。
What we do
We promote in-depth communication and connection between Chinese immigrants and people with diverse backgrounds in order to strengthen inclusivity and solidarity in the SF Bay Area.
We host regular online and offline fireside chats, panel discussions, book readings, cultural and art gatherings, volunteering opportunities, community partnership activities, and outdoor activities. We also publish original content and create unique programs in order to promote culture and art, cultivate professional and personal improvement, deepen our understanding of social issues (e.g. women and LGBTQ empowerment), and encourage civic engagement for a better society.
You might find us organizing activities such as cooking shows, entrepreneur mentorship programs, blacksmithing classes, writing workshops, and urban vegetable cultivation. We are always open to new, interesting and meaningful ways to deepen our sense of community and our shared humanity here in the Bay Area.
我们促进华人移民与不同文化背景的人之间的深度交流和联结，以加强旧金山湾区的包容性和团结。我们定期举办线上及线下围炉对话、小组讨论、愉园书吧、文化和艺术聚会、志愿者服务活动、族裔社群联谊活动和户外活动。我们还发布原创内容并创建独特的项目，以促进文化和艺术交流，培养专业和个人进步，加深我们对社会议题（例如女性和 LGBTQ 赋权）的理解，我们也鼓励公民政治参与，共同建设更美好的社会。
